On Friday morning we walked to this place called Endgrain to bring home doughnuts for us and Grace. They were $3 per donut!! I got the nutella doughnut and the honey glazed doughscuit, which is a mix between a doughnut and a biscuit.. I wasn't a fan of that one but loved the nutella doughnut.
For lunch we all went to En Hakkore, which is a Korean restaurant, and it was so delicious. They only have about three items on their menu, so we got their beef tacos and bibimbap with beef. The tacos come on Paratha which is an Indian flatbread and it makes the taco amazing. It's kind of sweet so it helps balance the spice from the meat and sauce. I downed my taco in one minute. It was incredible. I definitely will be coming back here next time I'm in Chicago.
Corey, Grace and Greta headed to Galena for a little vacation with family, so Jahmal and I were on our own. We went to the Lincoln Park Zoo, Millennium Park and just drove around the city dreaming about living here together one day. It was such a beautiful, perfect day that ended with some Quartino. It felt so nice to be in Chicago together and show each other our favorite parts of the city. I can't wait to be back soon!
